One of the best nude lipsticks I have tried. It is vegan and it is moisturising.

The color is something even more amazing than I anticipated - and something I haven't found in other natural lipsticks. This is a BOLD statement. Deep, metallic purple that's buildable from a sheer, slightly pinkish hue to this darker, gloomier metallic shade.

Feels pretty good on the lips, applies smoothly, but requires quite a few layers to get a nice, even coating going on. Doesn't last the longest, but I found this to be something that can be paired with a lot of other lipsticks to add a bit of intrigue to your "normal" shades. Especially neat-o with a burgundy shade underneath!

Rarely has a product left me so conflicted as this lipstick. The color is a beautiful, pink-y nude, perfect for my naturally slightly darker, redder lips. My perfect nude, I would say. The color goes with everything and this lipstick lasts quite a long time, fading out nicely and evenly.

However... The lipstick had barely any scent when it arrived, yet very soon (within a week from opening) it started to kind of start smelling a bit like... play-doh. Not the best smell to apply to your face. Also, it started to look a bit more rough and also feel a bit bumpy. I managed to exchange the lipstick to a new tube, but... alas, with this, the same problem.

But, because this IS my perfect nude, I am determined to use this lipstick despite its strange shortcomings. Thankfully, the odd scent doesn't linger after applying.

My other Lippy Girl Vegocentric Lipstick in a different shade has not had these problems, so I imagine it has something to do with the shade itself.

The lipstick itself is great, I have two other colours and it is very moisterising. however this one is just too nude for me. A very barely there look, which as the name suggests would work well at the beach, but does not work for me for every day wear.

Review of Lippy Girl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick: Surf Betty 5g

Bought this lipstick in shade Boss Lady, expected dark red with dark pink/purple undertone.
What I got is orange red. Thank god it still suits my skin tone but just not what I expected.
The lipstick is also drying and quite hard to put on. Usually have to put lipbalm on first.
Have to re-apply quite a lot.

All in all, quite disappointed!

Not the colour I was expecting from the description and picture.

Review of Lippy Girl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick: P-Bomb 5g

The colour is great. It pops out. But the lipstick is very very dry. In fact mine has broken because it is so dry. Also, the does not spread very easily on the lips. This again causes you to press hard and the chances of the lipstick breaking are high. I don't think I will be trying this brand again.

I was really excited about getting this lipstick through the post. But when I tried it on, I found it difficult to apply. It didn't go on smoothly. I had to really drag it across my lips, and the colour is more gingery than what I was expecting from the picture.
But I guess that's the gamble you take when you buy lipsticks online without testing them first!

Unfortunately, apart from the shade, this lipstick is a no-no. It doesn't last long and after 15-20 minutes the lips remain get very dry.
