John Masters Organics Reviews
We love John Masters Organics. Find out what our customers have to say about the range of John Masters Organics products.
Lovely gentle brush which makes my hair soft and detangled easily without pulling. Quality just like the hair range.
The great thing about this vented paddle brush is that the tourmaline featured produces negative charged ions that help reduce static and frizz whilst smoothing the hair cuticle down for improved manageabilty and shine. The vented hair brush design allows the air to flow through the brush easier whilst the tourmaline added benefit distributes the heat evenly for a quicker drying time.I was really impressed on how lightweight this hair brush feels and makes styling the hair either damp or dry so much easier. It glides through the hair easily without any extreme stress put on the hair strands whilst cleaning the brush to maintain its effectiveness is easy. Full review:
Love this shampoo - I don't have any particular scalp problems, but I find this great for refreshing and reviving hair and scalp once in a while. Lovely bright minty scent, and leaves your head feeling all fresh, tingly and super clean.
Use this in a rolling program of John Masters shampoos for my eczema prone scalp, very soothing.
This is my favourite shampoo. A lot of natural shampoos don't leave my think hair feeling clean but this does. I love the smell too - clean smelling and not over the top.
Got the 30ml bottle with the beauty box. Used it 3 times already, and there's still left for another 2 times (and I wash my very long hair twice during the shower). Washes very well, good smell, worth the money because little goes a long way!
This is my favourite from the John Masters Organics shampoos, love the smell. Gives ample volume, not too crazy though, but if you are looking for a great, clean and quality natural shampoo this is it.
I love it.
For my whole life I have itchy and flaky scalp and very dry curly hair at the same time. I tried different oils, scrubs, special shampoo, bit all this stuff was useless.
This shampoo in pair with deep scalp purifying serum has fixed this problem in 5 or 6 times of using (which for me is 3 weeks).
Also, the feeling of coolness and freshness on the scalp is so nice that even can make my headache gone.
I always apply it on the scalp and hair roots only, and leave it for 1-3 minutes.
I really like this shampoo. I have fine hair that lacks volume and it gets a lot of work to arrange it properly. This shampoo leaves my hair shiny and it adds body to my hair.
This leaves my hair so soft it's been slipping out of my ponytail! Smells great and I use it everyday, don't need a lot for a fantastic result.
In summer time my skin turns oily quickly, especially nose area. I used make up powder to reduce the oil but the effect only last short time. After using this serum, oily skin disappeared even I go out under sun for whole day!
This smells great & leaves my fine hair super shiny & smooth.
Fantastic to soothe s dry itchy scalp and doesn't leave hair oily.
I absolutely love this product. For the last 10 or 15 years I have itchy and very flaky scalp and I couldn't find any solution.
After using this serum 6 or 7 times, the problem has reduced for on 50% minimum.
Also I like this feeling of coolness and freshness on my head and I even wish it was much stronger than it is. The smell of mint and rosemary are quite strong (as it should be according to essential oils as ingredients), but when it dries up, there are no any smell on the hair.
Will continue using this product and definitely will recommend.
And looking to the inci list, I think it would help with hair loss too.
Absolutely love this face wash! My face feels sort and clean and I have definitely noticed my face beeing calmer with less breakouts, especially during monthly hormonal changes.
It really helped to improve my oily itchy scalp. My hair looks shinier for the first time in a long time since I have left sls and toxics. My hair looks healthy, not oily roots and I dont need any detangler. I have long, really long and straight thin hair. Highly recommend it if you have sensitive scalp and are looking for a good detox product. The only bad point could be a bit itchy if in contact with eyes.
Firsty: the fragrance is heavenly, wish they'd do a body cream etc with the same smell. Secondly: my hair is in the best condition its been for ages, so soft, and even looks shorter because it's got more body. So far no problems from my sensitive scalp either. Would def recommend.
Having really dry hair I used this shampoo in combination with Giovanni 50/50 Conditioner and they work well together. Plus my head stopped itching. I don't know which of these two products gets the compliment. Simple shampoos leave my hair too tangled and dry, but this one is much more moisturising. P
I am very satisfied, It is very soft and wet to my lips. I Like it.
This is one of the best lip balms I have used. It leaves my dry lips definitely kissable! It has a nice flavour - sort of vanilla/citrus and is great value for money as well as being organic - highly recommended.
I'm very fussy about my lip balms as I have sensitive lips prone to allergy, but this balm really does the trick, especially in cold weather. It is luscious and thick and smells lovely, really feels like its been made with care.
A really nice light oil which I use before bed
I love argan oil, as it helped me to get rid of my bacne. I used to use not this brand, but I didn't like the rubber cap of my previous one (I used argania pure), because it stank. Now this one is 100% pure argan oil and also the cap is perfect. So, I'm in love with this.
I love John Masters products, I just started using this but so far so good
Has helped my scalp massively and i believe the flaxseed oil in this spray can reduce hair loss!!!
I am on my second bottle of this serum already. It works perfectly for my mixed, slowly getting into middle age skin. Very light, absorbs quickly and gives instant velvetly feel on skin without any greasiness. You need to put it on skin in drops of course as all serums so it lasts really a long time. But as I said, I was so happy with my first bottle that I reordered it as soon as I ran out of it.
Excellent product. I use it for volumising and to give texture to my layers. One of the only hair products I purchase repeatedly
This is my favourite face serum by far, I have just reordered it. I have mixed, starting to get older but still getting spots type of skin and this serum is perfect for it. It's light but not waterly and face looks refreshed and lighter after using it.
Just needs a quick spritz to give my hair a bit of body, it smells great too.
I've only used it once so far (today actually) but my hair looks fabulous! I first used it on towel dried hair, concentrated on the roots, before blow drying my roots. Don't know if it’s my imagination but I feel like I have a bit more volume. I also used it in the lengths (which I leave semi wet) then it gets to air dry. It gave my fine, heavy, already a bit wavy hair that push it needs to feel less heavy and give me perfect, shiny waves. And the extra texture for my otherwise hopelessly silky hair is just what I needed.\n\nAs I said I've only used it once so far, but I have a feeling that it's going to be a favorite.
I have wavy hair.It leaves my hair shiny and soft.It is not sticky after applying. So it's great for use on dry hair because it smooths and moisturizes without being heavy.
I love this product.
Tried the sample. Felt like goddess for the whole evening. One of the best moisturizer smells I've ever tried. Definitely will buy in the future. Moisturizes well - just enough. Doesn't leave grease, doesn't evaporate, can I say it's perfect?
I just love John Master's... Best body lotion ever, love the smell and the ingredients... it is expensive but i keep coming back!
Perfect scent, light, easily absorbed, moisturising. One of very few products that I've been loyal to. Love it.
This body lotion smells lovely! It is non-greasy and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.
This is just amazing, the scent is delicious and lasts all day - leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised and smelling edible!
Received a sample of this in the monthly beauty box. Absolutely loved it! Scent and texture was spot on, and it was easily absorbed. I'll definitely be buying the full size product.
B E A UTIFUL! love the smell. so heavenly and it actually lasts on your skin. you get a tone of product for an okay price. if it was a bit cheaper then id be 100% satisfied. check out my youtube channel and you'll see my haul from this site! : Religious Beauty D
Have tried a sample which was lovely so I purchased some for a friends birthday.
A lovely product to use, it glides onto the skin, and smells wonderful.
This foam does really a great job when it comes to fine hair. It creates long lasting volume and doesn't contain the chemicals found in other products. I recommend it.
I received a sample of this the other day. I thought Orange and Vanilla couldn't work but I really like it. It's not sickly and smells quite refreshing. The lotion sinks in well, doesn't take ages to get absorsed.
It's very fresh and cooling, although I can imagine for some people the spearmint can be too strong - I can definitely feel it on my forehead.
I received a sample of this from LoveLula in an order, and whilst it's not something I'd use everyday, it made a refreshing change from my usual shampoo. It smells quite medicinal, and it feels like it works to cleanse the scalp well.
I use this on a daily basis in the morning and at night. It is lovely and gentle to my skin and leaves me feeling clean and soft.\nI like to think that I am applying natural products to my face rather than not knowing what I am applying!\n\nHaving always suffered from problematic skin even into my 30's, this product has agreed with me nicely, even through times of hormonal change!
I've only used this once so far. I've got thick, curly, frizzy hair and i don't like using silicone products, so thought i'd try this as an alternative as it's based on seaweed. I don't think i put quite enough on, so will try again later using a little more and see how we go.
This is the most wonderful product! It smells absolutely gorgeous and has the lightest texture. And it smooths on without leaving a stickiness that some serums do.
I ordered this as a sample and I have to say I was so impressed. I have oily skin and have been looking for an anti-ageing serum, so decided to try this one out. It says it is actually for dry/mature skin but the results are very really good for saying I suffer from oily breakouts. It smells AMAZING, like a sun ripened orange, just stunning. Less is more, if you apply too much it does feel sticky, you only need the smallest amount. I would say it's suitable for oily skins as well as it sinks in instantly and leaves it looking matte and fresh. I noticed it left my skin looking brighter and refreshed and it felt quenched and hydrated. I didn't notice any unusual breakouts, so I'm seriously considering purchasing this.
Great smell and works really well on my time hair to give me Beach style waves.
Very nice, but a little bit shapr for my sensitive skin. I am using it carefully though.
only judy started using this,so do not know how effective it wll be but no adverse reaction.
Beautiful quality. It is recommended for thick hair but I found my hair is too thick and requires separation of layers for a thorough brush.
Not used much yet but is nice for face massage
leaves my skin soft and moisturised all day.
I will buy this product again.
This conditioner was really good for my most recent holiday at a spa resort. Helped me keep my hair glossy despite the chlorine/repeated washes!
It also passed through customs fine.
Besma - Curiously Conscious
(Note: I was gifted this to review)
I've only been using it for couple of weeks, so it's to early to tell how effective it is. However, it's very light and doesn't make the hair greasy.
I took this bottle on holiday with me and found it did well at cleaning my hair regularly without stripping the oils (I usually use another brand).
It also is small enough to take through customs without trouble.

My opinion is based only on the travel size product, but I find it very gentle for the hair and scalp, but still resulting in clean hair. Didn't cause itching nor irritation.
Lovely smell, sinks easily to the skin, but I'm not sure it would provide enough moisture in winter time. I like the fresh scent, and would like it to linger.
This lip balm has a lovely subtle smell and goes on nicely. Has a good texture on lips. I would buy this again.
I love this shampoo and always have one in my bathroom. I use others as well, but always come back to this.

I’ve been using this shampoo for years and absolutely love it for my fine, long hair. However, I’m so disappointed in the new formula, the consistency is like water and more of it ends up on the floor than in my hair, which means I get through a bottle far more quickly than I used too. Consequently I’m on the hunt for a new brand.
It has a nice smell and after application the skin feels cleaned and smooth. Nevertheless I find it over-drying for sensitive skin, so it needs to be followed by a mosturizer.
The shampoo itself is fine but I found the scent rather strong. I guess those ingredients are very helpful for the scalp, but since I don't have any scalp issues I won't be buying this again.
Beautiful smell & texture although I don't feel it moisturises enough
Skin type: combination (T-zone gets a bit oily), clog-prone, sensitive.
I loved the smell, the richness of the foam, and the way this cleanser purifies and brightens the skin. However, after using it for a week (morning and evening), I found it to be drying for my skin, which now feels tight, dry, with some peeling on the nose. This cleanser also dried my lips after the first few uses.
In my experience, it does purify the skin but this benefit is completely offset but the fact that this cleanser is drying, which results in more clogged pores as the skin produces more sebum. It should be noted, that the product information states "Aloe vera keeps skin from over-drying". Unfortunately, not in my case.
I hope this is helpful! :)
Firstly this smells gorgeous!!! Secondly it makes your hair, soft, moisturised and non-oily. However thirdly....My psoriasis is the worst it has been in years since i started using this. Whilst it makes my hair beautiful i have an itchy sore flaky scalp and some large sores have developed :( - so only 2 stars
This smelt very strong and didn't soak in, it made my hands, skin and hair very sticky. I had to wash it off my hands and hair immediately as the stickiness felt unpleasant. I gave it away - perhaps I had a bad one since everyone else seems to love it. (Will stick to Kahina argan oil in future which is by far the best I have tried)
not enthusiastic about the use of shampoo, can not cope with their problems ... perhaps I just did not fit of the pluses is that it smells nice and soft hair after it.
Having used John Masters citrus and neroli conditioner for some time now I decided to try out their styling gel. I have quite long, naturally curly hair and find that a bit of gel or similar styling product gives my hair a bit of volume and holds the style through the day. Unfortunately this did neither. My hair felt like straw, all the normal shine was gone and although my curls were defined (and a bit crunchy) for the morning, by lunchtime my hair was looking a bit limp and lifeless (though credit where credit's due, it wasn't too frizzy!). I also found that when brushing my hair out the following morning before washing it I created a virtual blizzard of white flakes, as the product was brushed loose of the hair - not good! For the pricetag I felt this product was a real let down and despite the amount of money spent on it I won't be using it again.
I got this product in the beauty box and it just wasn't that good. My hair felt coated, wasn't completely clean either. I feel like this is better suited for babies and children who's hair require less of a deep clean.
Wouldn't purchase the full size
I love most of the John Masters hair range so I had to try this, unfortunately it is far too strong smelling, it made my eyes water and I am unable to use it.
I suffer from an itchy, flaky scalp and thought I'd treat myself to this salon brand. First, the good points - it's got a wonderful butterscotch aroma and my hair was left soft, shiny and healthy looking. On this basis alone, I'd score it 4 out of 5. However, as a treatment shampoo, it's been pretty useless. I've even tried leaving it on for a few minutes rather than rinsing it straight off and the result is the same - my scalp is still itchy and flaky. I'll persevere with it until it's finished because it's comparatively expensive and it's good for general condition. As soon as it's used up, however, I'm back to the trusty, effective (and much cheaper!) Lavera Cornflower shampoo.
I'm blessed with full lips but they chap easily & this just did not absorb beyond the very top surface layer of skin. I am so disappointed, smells lovely (0.5 for that!) but for me didn't soothe / rehydrate at all. Love JM's conditioner but won't be buying this again.
