We love Inika. Find out what our customers have to say about the range of Inika products.
I have a love/hate relationship with mascaras in general. I have very blonde lashes and hate the over the top spider eye look you get with some mascaras. This one by Inika is one of my favourites, the brush is great, it's super easy to apply and comes off - would be nice if they made a longer lasting/waterproof version but this does stay on all day, I just like the extra protection of waterproof mascaras maybe!
Only downside is not too fond of the container, has an odd feel to it but am really happy with the product!
Had high hopes for this but found it to be quite gluggy when applied - lots of clumps in my eyelashes. The casing gets dirty-looking very easily and feels quite clunky/heavy. There are other better natural mascaras on the market. A pity as the Inika cream foundation is pretty good.
I love this foundation because it gives natural coverage, it can built up but don't expect anything too heavy. Is perfect if you want to give you skin a more radiant loo, natural, cover some spots and if you want to do it quickly on the go. is not cake at all. If you want something like your skin but better. then this is for you
This baked powder foundation is easily my favourite, along with their Inika's loose powder foundation. The baked foundation offers lighter coverage as you won’t be picking up as much product as you would with the loose version.
Really lovely quality and offers a smooth finish with a flat head brush or a sponge. :)
Since I’ve been using this foundation I’ve had better skin than when I used other powder foundations from brands like Rimmel and MAC. I’m so glad I decided to invest in this, it's been an absolute dream.
I received this lipstick in the lovelula beauty box. It is a lovely lipstick, smooth to apply and has staying power. I like the colour, although it is slightly shimmery which is something I don't usually go for but can't complain when its in the beauty box!
Highly recommend, I will definitely repurchase another colour.
I'm just about to repurchase this Inika BB Cream. It's one of my favourite natural bases for my normal/dry mature skin. I find it gives fairly light coverage and is non drying. Reminds me a lot of Sappho's foundation if anyone's tried that.
WARNING - MAY RESULT IN A LOT OF KISSING!!
I got both of these colours yesterday and it's an immediate love-affair for me. The plastic top snaps off to reveal the powder puff underneath, which you use to buff on the product. The upper-side of the plastic top also has a small mirror on it, which is a fantastic touch. It seems the powder comes through a hole from the actual blush pot, through the black base it screws onto and then into the puff for application, although I am sure that you could dip the puff into the product and apply that way if you wanted to, but the application would probably be too heavy. However, the fact that you can get to the powder this way means that you can refill it when it has run out, if you have any other mineral powder blushers and want the convenience of this packaging, and also, should you wish to apply with a make-up brush then you can reach the product to do this.
Pink Pinch is a gorgeous pink shade with a hint of shimmer to give you that innocent rosy glow.
Rosy Glow, on the other hand, has a slightly more mauve tone and a little more shimmer, but still manages to look innocent and coy.
I personally think that both colours would suit any skintone; I'm a big believer in application method and depth of colour applied in order to turn any woman into a goddess. Practice a few tricks, study celebrities and maybe consult a make-up book and you will learn how to make the best of these cosmetics for yourself. A bad look is often down to poor application techniques or colour-overkill rather than products that were unsuitable.
Don't forget that if you wish to you can add a little of the blush to some lip balm and use as an amazing gloss, either on its own or applied over lipstick. Why not steal a few cheats? You want to be the best-looking girl out there don't you?
This is fab, a great all in one product to take anywhere it easy so easy & not messy to apply & even has its own mirror. This has really impressed me a real must have - a little on the lips then lipgloss on top looks lovely - also a lovely eyeshadow if lightly applied - this is so much more than a blusher & I just love the Rosy Glow.
For the time-starved, mineral make-up and especially mineral foundations have created a whole new way to get a look quickly that lasts all day and looks as close to flawless as the condition of your skin allows. Good for all skin-types, and in a very wide range of colours to choose from, you are sure to find your match.
The powder is like silk. It glides across your skin & blends effortlessly. I thoroughly recommend using a good quality kabuki brush for this as soft bristles are essential to get a flawless look in double-quick time.
The main advantages of this product, apart from its suitability for universal skin types, and the colours which will match pretty-much from the fairest to the darkest, is the ease and swiftness of the actual application. You don't need to be taught how to do this. Simply load your brush with a small amount of product & buff on. Apply more until you have the coverage you want or need. You can use a smaller brush to apply to blemishes, scars, thread veins or undereye circles for extra coverage, & it blends out very well with little effort.
I have tried a few mineral make-up brands from the mainstream sector and can honestly say this wins hands-down: for blendability, for a natural look when finished, no cakeyness or obvious 'colour' to the face, and it doesn't sit in pores and make them look larger as one that I'd tried sadly did. The powder is so fine that it enhances and blurs, making you look wonderful. For days when you don't want to blend liquid foundation or have little time on your hands this is a great 'quick-fix' with lasting results that knock spots off of most other foundations I have tried.
Again, as I tend to say, not the most exciting purchase you will ever make, however clean, clear and radiant skin is an essential base from which to start your other make-up application. For that reason, it's a necessary and very important purchase; you need to get it right! From good skin, all else follows. Having had bad skin in the past, these things revolutionise my life every time. I remember a cruel comment I received: 'You'd be so pretty if you didn't have spots.' WOW that cut to the bone. Now when I look in the mirror I can make the most of myself and not worry about that anymore. For me, it's not only priceless, but I never grow tired of looking at good skin. That's why I would recommend this product so highly. It's the best of the best I have tried so far. It's made a huge difference to my life, and because I know it won't clog my pores I don't have to worry about any blemishes returning. Basically, I love it! It's one of my staples and always will be. Maybe it could do the same for you?
Couldn't live without this! A fantastic mineral foundation that I've worn for over a year now and still love its coverage. I also like that it's vegan and has an SPF. The shade I use is Unity.
Perfect to shade in your brows to create a natural look. Plus the lid has a sharpener which is great.
Brilliant at giving a sheeny glow, nothing too brash. Versatile as a great base layer, highlighter or just as a wash of subtle colour on the lids. Fabulous in summer when heavy eyeshadow looks all wrong, but could be layered up for winter sparkle too. Didn't crease at all. Love this product.
My favourite natural foundation! It glides beautifully on your skin upon application as long as you use an oil-based moisturiser or facial oil as your base, otherwise you have to apply it quickly as it does dry up fast upon contact with skin. It gives a good and natural-looking coverage (medium is definitely a good description) but it can be built up (to a certain degree) on areas that need it, without looking “caked up” or clogging up pores. The ‘cream’ shade also works perfectly on my fair skin tone.
I love the smell of this foundation as welll as its great coverage. I would reccommend it to everybody! It is easy to apply and stays on. Plus it is vegan, cruelty free, etc. so you are making something good for the planet.
This is the best natural ingredient foundation I have found. I use the powder over it, for longer lasting coverage. I found other natural foundations were more like tinted moisturisers, but this one is actually like a foundation.
The most perfect foundation. I bought the Kabuki Brush from Green People to apply this . Well worth the expense. It will last a long time.
This is the first mineral foundation I have bought and I love it. I have only been wearing it a week and 2 people have told me that my skin looks good. I use shade unity and it evens out my skin tone really well. I've never been confident with applying liquid foundation and the ease of this fantastic. Will definitely be a staple from now on.
I've been using it for the last year and a half and I really like it! I have super sensitive acne-prone skin and since I took accutane I react to most products and almost every oil makes me break out (finnally found that argan oil doesn't) and this foundation is so simple that my skin loves it
I've tried other mineral foundations but this is the best I've found. I am 60 so have to be careful with what I choose. I find the coverage looks natural and it doesnt feel like you are wearing foundation. Its quick and easy to apply and stays all day but comes off easily. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely love this product, I have acne prone skin with a bit of scarring and this foundation leaves my skin looking radiant and smooth without causing any breakouts, plus it lasts all day.
I got this because I have extremely pale skin, & I'm fed up of having to either use darker foundations as contour (which is very time consuming) or find a bronzer shade that I can use in small doses and blend like crazy to get a subtle effect.
The latest trend in bronzers, mineral in particular, is to be able to apply all over your face to completely bronze in order to give you an all-over healthy colour. To date, having only used bronzer to highlight or contour, I wasn't sure I could find something to make me look all-over healthy. Then I tried this.
When it came through I was surprised just how light it was. Would it do anything? Well yes, it did! I got a really healthy glow, applying it using a huge powder brush and sweeping all over the face. You can also use a kabuki brush to bronze specific areas as you wish. This product is brilliant. Another amazing staple, and so subtle (unless you apply more) that you could use it all year round. I was *very* impressed with mine and may even consider investing in the next colour up if I get a little sun sometime.
When I got this brush it was slightly smaller than I expected, but that actually made it easier to handle and apply my product with. The bristles - well you can't really call them that, they are so soft - blended effortlessly. As someone who is usually quite bad at blending - I put my hand up to that one! - I was delighted that the brush almost seemed to do it *for* me. Now I'm not a workman who blames their tools... however it did occur to me that the softer the bristles are, the more easily the product will apply and blend with the brush, and the softer and more realistic the end result of your 'look'. Say no more!!
Most of my other brushes are a lot stiffer and many have longer bristles, so I have to say I think this is where the difference occurs. This is more compact but boy is it more efficient! I LOVE mine! It may not be the most exciting thing you buy yourself, however the look you will achieve most definitely WILL be worth it! I have a very high-end brush which I was using to date (price undisclosed, ahem!) and this knocks the SOCKS off it!
After use, I simply swirl it gently into a soft tissue & then consider it 'clean' for the next application. I haven't found any of the bristles to come out as they can with some cheaper or less high-quality brushes. All in all, it's the best new addition you can make to your make-up bag. Highly recommended and definitely worth it - an all-round winner!
When I received this set, it was so much better than I was expecting - and I was expecting a *lot*!!
Firstly, it comes packed in a gorgeous box, which I personally have re-used to keep other bits & pieces in. Next you have the bag for your brushes & make-up etc. although again I have used it for something else (it looks gorgeous by the way!).
The mineral foundation blends seamlessly into the skin, & although I am very pale I found it perfect for me. I looked healthier & any imperfections were blurred into insignificance. The Kabuki brush is a revelation - the kit is worth it for this brush alone! It's *gorgeous* - soooo soft, and blends any product with ease. It's so gentle. I love it!
Finding a bronzer can be hard for me, especially in the later months of the year when I am at my most pale. However the bronzer put together in this kit is so subtle that you just look really healthy. I would use this all year round, not just in summer. It makes you feel a million dollars when you wear it. If you want a stronger look, just add more!
The other brush and the three smaller sized products are also fantastic. I do find it hard to get a concealer to hide my dark circles without being 'caked', so this one was very much appreciated. Although it's a small size it will last a long time because you use a small amount & blend with the brush. The foundation was lovely to use, and also the primer. Although they are not included in their full sizes it's great for the odd evening out when you want a more polished look. I think it's great that they are included to cover all occasions considering the kit is mainly intended as a mineral 'powder' set.
I would probably buy the full sizes of the concealer, primer and foundation off the back of trying them in this kit. It's been one of the nicest things I've treated myself to and would make an amazing gift if you are looking for something to WOW someone with!
I use this over a light moisturiser. It has a gorgeous uplifting scent and it blends in beautifully to leave your face moisturised and with a health glow. The light fluid texture is just right. A great quality foundation.
Love this box! Products are great for sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend
Good colour match and coverage is quite light, really like this product. It evens out skin tone for a natural look - not sure how it would work if you're looking for something that gives comprehensive coverage. Works best when you've just put moisturiser on, otherwise it can be difficult to apply. However I didn't buy the foundation primer and it might be that you need to get the two products together.
I use the product with my fingers\nI find the quality is excellent
This kabuki brush will last a life time! I just use a little bit of my own cleanser and water to clean it and the brush is like new again.
I really like this product. It is nice and creamy and doesn´t dry my skin that already is very dry. The shade cream has pink undertones and suites me. The only thing is that I can have a hard time make it stick because I am wearing such faty creams underneath. I find that using a powder puff with loose powder makes it sit better.
Very pleased with this foundation. I tend to buff it in with the Kabuki brush to make sure I get longer lasting coverage.
I loved the product. Coverage, texture, color everything is just perfect. Only issue is with packaging. It is not possible to empty the bottle. Waste of product.
Quality of the product is great, it covered up my red cheeks for my works Christmas night out! it was quite expensive but I like the fact it hasn't been tested on animals etc.
Overall really great but doesn't give coverage to spots, dark circles.
Primers dont work with my current moisturizer (foundation balls up, even after letting it sink in), however it did work nicely with a backup moisturizer i have. It helped the foundation apply more evenly & it felt reasonably nice on my slightly dry skin (strangely, ever-so-slightly tingly at first). As with all foundations, this liquid one clung to the dry patches. Slightly thicker than expected & dries fairly quickly. Coverage is a little on the lighter side & half wore off my usual places (nose, chin) through the day. I like a thin layer, so also needed some green corrector for my rosacea. I really like the powder - i prefer lately to mix a little powder with a drop of oil & pat onto my skin using fingers. gives better coverage, better finish (powders can look cakey on me) short & longterm, & is nicer for my dryer skin. This powder has given me better all-day results than some other brands. My only complaint is that i have light skin with cool undertones & although i like 'Grace' (for neutral undertones) it is not a perfect match, so i need to buy 'Unity' (for cool undertones) separately to try.
I don't tend to wear a lot of make up - especially not eye make up, but if I do then this is the sort of product I tend to wear in terms of ease of applying and a subtle look. This cream eyeshadow is very subtle though, to the point where I'm not sure it's worth me wearing it. Now admittedly it's going to be very tricky to see on me as I have deep set eyes so you can't see much of my eyelids, but even so it's nice to have a shimmer when I blink but I don't see much of anything with this other than a tiny sheen. If I apply more with a brush I do get a bit more shimmer. It doesn't crease so I think this might be a great primer/base for other eyeshadows.
Funny story - I made a complete mess of this the first time I opened it as I didn't realise the lid had a concealed nozzle and I took off the whole lid. Once you open it properly it's much easier to apply!
I use mineral powders usually and this is my first time using a cream eyeshadow, but I really like it. I think this colour gets lost on my very fair skin, but with a tan it would look much better. It feels luxury to apply, stays well, doesn't crease, and adds a lovely sparkle.
I don't often wear cream eyeshadows, but this one is very nice and adds an instant touch of shimmery brightness to the eyes. Lovely flattering shade.
not as good as hoped but will try a bit longer
Wish all brands had trial kits. 5stars for the kit but sadly products didn't work for me. Love Inika philosophy-want to convert my cosmetics to organic, paraben-free & vegan. Powder foundation was easy to apply & natural finish. But too sheer for me - better for someone who doesn't need much coverage (I have dry, uneven skin tone). Liquid foundation was good medium coverage & Beige shade matched perfectly-but too dry-impossible to evenly spread (tried fingers, brush, beauty blender) & not buildable (looked cakey). Primer is fab & will buy full size. My quest for the perfect foundation continues.
I thought I'd try something new as I ran out of my Bareminerals complexion rescue. I thought this would be very moisturising as a BB cream but I did not find it to be at all. I have to use right after I've moisturised and then add extra moisturiser to it as well! Colour was good (cream) but I found it way too dry and too light a coverage. This does seem to get good reviews, but I wouldn't buy again.
I received this eyeliner in the March beauty box and it is the worst eyeliner I have ever tried. I know we all suit different products but this eyeliner for me is very difficult to apply with the hard felt tip like point. When applied it immediately breaks up into little smithereens flaking into my eyes. I have tried it several times because it is from Inika a brand that I love but I find it horrible. I would not pay £19.00 for this!!
Let me just start by explaining that I've used mineral makeup in its various forms for over 13 years, so what I am about to write is not caused by unrealistic expectations. I have always loved Inika, and have used their makeup many times before, but never have they offered a baked compact version of their mineral foundation, which I know, used and love. I was very excited to see this convenient version of the product, and ordered it right away. Unfortunately, this is NOT FOUNDATION at all as it offers ZERO coverage. Absolutely none. At first I thought it might be down to the tool- so tried it with a large kabuki, small kabuki, flat top brush and finally beautyblender, all to no avail. Nothing seems to lift enough product of the pan to achieve any coverage. It is more like a sheer and soft finishing powder, and I will use it up as such. But to say I am disappointed is an understatement, and I have to buy another foundation that will perform in a way this kind of product is supposed to. Cannot believe this came from Inika☹️
