Myrrh is the gum collected from the myrrh bush and oil is steam-distilled from this resin. Myrrh is one of the oldest known aromatic substances. Well-known for its antimicrobial properties, it is used in the treatment of mouth, gum and throat infections. This oil is also reputed to stimulate the stomach digestive system. Due to its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties it is useful in treating wounds and ulcers. It instills a deep sense of calm and tranquility on the mind.Contraindications: It is contraindicated during pregnancy.

Commiphora myrrha

Can be used for massage when diluted with a SOiL carrier oil or can be used in a diffuser.

Please note contra-indications before using essential oils:
We recommend that people with allergies should test a tiny amount of oil on a small area on the inside of their arm before using the oil.

Epilepsy and High Blood Pressure:
