For first time use, after removing the lid, you may want to test the applicator by gently pressing/swiping the pot on the back of your hand using the built-in puff applicator. You should notice the colour of the blush appearing on the applicator. For application, start by tapping the apples of the cheeks and blend upwards and towards your temple for a healthy flush of colour. APPLICATION TIP: For an alternate method of application, you can use the INIKA Vegan Blush Brush by tapping the brush onto the puff as to dispense the colour onto the brush. Reviews for Inika Mineral Blush Puff Pot
excellent quality would recommend to everyone
This is fab, a great all in one product to take anywhere it easy so easy & not messy to apply & even has its own mirror. This has really impressed me a real must have - a little on the lips then lipgloss on top looks lovely - also a lovely eyeshadow if lightly applied - this is so much more than a blusher & I just love the Rosy Glow.
WARNING - MAY RESULT IN A LOT OF KISSING!!
I got both of these colours yesterday and it's an immediate love-affair for me. The plastic top snaps off to reveal the powder puff underneath, which you use to buff on the product. The upper-side of the plastic top also has a small mirror on it, which is a fantastic touch. It seems the powder comes through a hole from the actual blush pot, through the black base it screws onto and then into the puff for application, although I am sure that you could dip the puff into the product and apply that way if you wanted to, but the application would probably be too heavy. However, the fact that you can get to the powder this way means that you can refill it when it has run out, if you have any other mineral powder blushers and want the convenience of this packaging, and also, should you wish to apply with a make-up brush then you can reach the product to do this.
Pink Pinch is a gorgeous pink shade with a hint of shimmer to give you that innocent rosy glow.
Rosy Glow, on the other hand, has a slightly more mauve tone and a little more shimmer, but still manages to look innocent and coy.
I personally think that both colours would suit any skintone; I'm a big believer in application method and depth of colour applied in order to turn any woman into a goddess. Practice a few tricks, study celebrities and maybe consult a make-up book and you will learn how to make the best of these cosmetics for yourself. A bad look is often down to poor application techniques or colour-overkill rather than products that were unsuitable.
Don't forget that if you wish to you can add a little of the blush to some lip balm and use as an amazing gloss, either on its own or applied over lipstick. Why not steal a few cheats? You want to be the best-looking girl out there don't you?
