To make it easier for you to apply this product is to get your eyebrows professionally waxed or threaded. You will still need to fill them in, but a brow expert will be able to know which shape best suits your face. Once you have your shape you can maintain them at home by plucking and trimming between appointments.
Start with clean dry brows, place a brush along the side of your nose to find where your brows should ideally start and angle a brush from the outside of your nose to the outer corner of your eye to find where your brows should ideally end. The end of the brow’s point should be at a 45-degree angle from the outside end of the eye.
Brush brows up with a Spooley brush. This helps you “to see the shape you like and to see where they are uneven.”
These pomades are best applied with an angled brow brush with short, stiff bristles. You can easily outline and fill a perfect eyebrow.
Use the brush to outline your brow shape. Then go in and lightly fill in individual spots.
After applying the desired amount of colour, be sure to blend with a clean spooley brush.
Never apply the pomade by directly putting your brush into the pot and applying the product on your brows.
To ensure you have the perfect amount needed for an application, dip your brush into the pot and swipe it across the inside of the cap or on the back of your hand —this will allow you to remove excess product, or collect more as needed.
Using short dash-like strokes to mimic your natural hairs, softly fill in any sparse areas with an angled brush.
Choose the colour that best matches your brows and fill in really lightly so it’s barely there.
To set the look and hold the hairs in place, brush through brows again with a Spooley to blend out the colour and soften any harsh lines.
Dip a bigger brush in a powder and trace around the perimeter of the brows. This makes the edges look sharp and clean.
You can use a concealer around your creation to recreate a clean edge.
