Pcynogenol, or pine bark extract, has been shown to be 50 times more effective than Vit E & 20 times more effective than Vit C as a free radical scavenger.

Free radicals are atoms or molecules formed during food metabolism, or by pollutants, smoking & radiation. Unless neutralised these molecules damage body cells, by, for example, distorting the DNA genetic blueprint.

Grape seeds are one of the richest plant sources of plant flavanoids and are potent anti-oxidants protecting the body from free radical damage.

The extract also helps prevent the cross linking of cells increasing the strength and elasticity of connective tissues in skin and joints preventing the main cause of wrinkles and ageing. Suitable for vegans.
