Having really dry hair I used this shampoo in combination with Giovanni 50/50 Conditioner and they work well together. Plus my head stopped itching. I don't know which of these two products gets the compliment. Simple shampoos leave my hair too tangled and dry, but this one is much more moisturising. P

I suffer from an itchy, flaky scalp and thought I'd treat myself to this salon brand. First, the good points - it's got a wonderful butterscotch aroma and my hair was left soft, shiny and healthy looking. On this basis alone, I'd score it 4 out of 5. However, as a treatment shampoo, it's been pretty useless. I've even tried leaving it on for a few minutes rather than rinsing it straight off and the result is the same - my scalp is still itchy and flaky. I'll persevere with it until it's finished because it's comparatively expensive and it's good for general condition. As soon as it's used up, however, I'm back to the trusty, effective (and much cheaper!) Lavera Cornflower shampoo.

Firstly this smells gorgeous!!! Secondly it makes your hair, soft, moisturised and non-oily. However thirdly....My psoriasis is the worst it has been in years since i started using this. Whilst it makes my hair beautiful i have an itchy sore flaky scalp and some large sores have developed :( - so only 2 stars

i recently received my order of the above product and i just had to tell you how good it is!

After having my second baby 5 weeks ago, my scalp psorisis has been quite bad, and at the end of pregnancy and afterwards, I have also had very greasy roots and dry ends, all probably due to fluctuating hormones. Although there is no permanent miracle cure for psorisis, the john masters zinc shampoo has definately helped my hair and scalp afte just one application and overall my hair feels 'normal' again.
