After being wowed by the Dr Alkaitis cleanser and loving the eye cream I thought I'd give this a try too. My skin is (or was!) sensitive but oily and blemished. I've been using the Kaeline mask to tackle the blemishes which has worked but tended to leave my skin a little dry and if I let it dry out too much it would leave my skin irritated and a bit red.

When I first used the Dr A. mask my skin was flaky and a bit sore (dreadful weather coupled with central heating a poor diet and stress I think - what hope does my skin have?!). I mixed it up with a little honey and water. It was easy to mix into a consistent texture and stayed relatively damp on the skin instead of drying out straight away.

When I removed it my skin was less red and smoother and after a couple of uses my flakiness has gone.

This is expenisve and although you only use a small amount at a time I'll be saving this mask for when I need it rather than just because I want one.

It has a distinctive smell which I still can't think what it reminds me of and I did have a bit of a wobble when I read that it contained pre-digested materials but it was pleasurable to use and did seem to soothe my skin and I suspect I'll be using it fairly regularly through the winter.

I would happily try this again when my skin next gets very sore or irritated (although I have to say that since using more natural products this has happened less and less).

3.5 points because it did soothe my skin and after a few uses seemed to improve it and was easy to use but I'm not sure about the smell and I'm not sure it did enough for my skin. Maybe someone with more sensitive skin than mine would find it more suitable.
