It certainly is natural, it literally is ground chamomile leaves in an oil. While this is interesting it's not easy to use, it's very messy and while it has a slight exfoliation effect, it's not very much. My face is rather oily afterwards and I believe that gives the illusion of smoother skin. I will say it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all, in spite of how oily it is. But it's not a useful product and is one more disappointment that is unfortunately leading me back to less natural products that work. However ... their cleanser/makeup remover is a very good product. It lifts makeup right off, is easy to use and doesn't irritate me either.
