Absorbs really quickly & I really like the smell & it does make your skin feel really soft. I'm not the most regular remover of hair so sorry I can't really say for sure how much it's slowing down hair regrowth & I can't say it totally prevents ingrowing hairs but I am quite prone to them... It mentions caffeine from coffee in the ingredients but to anyone else who's considering this but isn't a coffee lover it doesn't smell of coffee, more of a clean, fresh smell & feel.
