Top celebrity stylist, John Masters' Organic Haircare Salon (where Sarah Jessica Parker is a regular) is situated in New York's trendy SoHo and is the city's only clean air salon - no chemicals are used in treatments provided.
John's passion for organics began as he became aware of the health risks posed by conventional hair care products. In 1991 he created the first product in the John Masters Organics haircare line and hasn't looked back since.
The John Masters Organics philosophy is that caring about yourself and caring about the earth don’t have to be mutually exclusive; why use synthetics when natural products work better and are safer for the environment?

John Masters Organics grew out celebrity stylist, John Masters' desire to create a luxury haircare and beauty line that treats the earth with respect. The result is the culmination of the hard work performed by people all over the world. Their dedication to growing and harvesting organic and wild-crafted ingredients is honored at John Masters Organics.
All ingredients used by John Masters Organics must meet strict guidelines:
1. No sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, DEAs, MEAs, or TEAs
2. No GMOs (Genetically Modified Organism)
3. No petro-chemicals
4. No animal testing
5. No artificial colors, fragrances or fillers
6. Ingredients must be as organic as possible
7. All plant extracts and essential oils must be certified organic whenever possible
8. All essential oils used must be steam-distilled and not extracted with propylene glycol - which kills the effect of the oils
9. All plant oils must be cold pressed, not heat distilled - which kills the therapeutic properties of plant oils
10. All ingredients must be proven to be beneficial to the hair or skin
11. All ingredients must be harvested in an environmentally-friendly manner (wild-crafted)
12. All ingredients must be bio-degradable as possible
13. Fair-Trade ingredients must be used when possible |
