In their early discussions with those within the industry and meetings with cosmetic manufacturers and ingredient suppliers, they were told that their brief was not possible.

This gave them even more incentive to step out of the norm to go beyond that current level of thinking and to bring to reality their vision for headonism.

Many months of intensive research and testing resulted in the detailed brief that they then delivered to their development lab. With their emphasis on getting it right time was not of importance and thus began a 3 year development process

There were many occasions where it would have been easy to take the synthetic route - the 'easy way out'. But the headonism team were insistent on sourcing the natural alternative even if this meant delays in their development.

Often they were told that a solution to a problem could be solved in a day by introducing a synthetic ingredient.

Their determination to create their brief was often a frustration but always a challenge to the lab.
