Click here to find out more.   I am an overseas customer and have had a tax free customer account set up. How do I shop with it?   Before you start shopping on our website log in to your account. When you then look at the organic skin care products in our store you will see both the normal price and the tax free price you pay. You can then add products to your shopping basket at the tax free price.   I'm having problems logging in to my account; I keep getting sent back to the log in page on the website. Clear the cache on your computer by going to your computer's control panel, selecting internet options and selecting to delete browsing history. Your computer may then give you the options of the browsing history you would like to delete, choose to delete internet temporary files and cookies. Restart your computer. Please also ensure that cookies are enabled on your internet browser. For details on enabling cookies click here. How are orders shipped?   We use Royal Mail & DHL for shipping orders. Standard delivery is by First Class post for UK orders. A signature may be required on delivery.   International delivery services take between 2 - 14 working days. You can also choose our Next Working Day delivery service or an express international (tracked) courier service.   Do you have a catalogue?   If you'd like us to send you a copy of our latest catalogue please contact us.   Can I cancel an order?   We dispatch most orders within 24 hours of you placing your order. If you would like to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible and we will notify you whether or not this will be possible; your order may already have been shipped.     CHOOSING PRODUCTS How do I know if a product will suit my skin type?   Underneath each organic skincare product we show which skin types the product is suitable for. You can also visit here and select your skin type to see which products suit your skin best. You can add up to 3 free samples to an order of £5 or more to try out something new for free. Alternatively have a look at our range of trial size products.   Can I use different skincare brands together?   Yes! We're big fans of mixing and matching. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't use products by lots of different brands. Shop for products according to your skin's needs; start with a cleanser that works with your skin type then build up. Some skins benefit from using a different moisturiser at night than in the morning, others need the extra hydration using a toner can bring. Get to know your skin, listen to it and play!   Are the organic and natural beauty products you stock sealed?   Some of the manufacturers that supply the products we stock seal their products, some don't. As an online organic beauty store however our products are never displayed in a shop where they are accessible by the public or other customers prior to purchase. More >>>   How do you decide which chemicals to avoid in the organic beauty products you stock?   We aim to follow guidance published by the UK Soil Association, BDIH & Ecocert plus keep abreast of the latest research studies. How can I tell if a skincare product is organic or not?   There are lots of terms you will find on skincare and beauty product labels these days including 'natural', 'organic', 'hypo-allergenic' and 'pure'. These terms have no real meaning; a beauty product can be labelled natural if it contains only a tiny percentage of natural ingredients and the rest is made up of chemicals, likewise an organic skincare product may only contain a drop of organic essential oil and nothing else organic.   The only way to know what you are buying is to read the ingredients on the label to see how much is natural and how much is chemical. Also find out more about the brand's committment to organics and natural skincare - do they tell you if where an ingredient is derived from? Some ingredients are semi synthetic and can be derived from natural ingredients or from chemicals - yet they will have the same name on the ingredient label.   I have never used organic skin care products before or have used skin care that contained mineral oil or petroleum derived ingredients such as propylene glycol. Will I notice any difference?   You may experience a 'detox' effect when you first start using organic skin care products. Your skin may break out or seem a little inflamed. This is normal and is part of the healing process your skin is going through. After 2 - 3 weeks this should pass and your skin will start to show the benefits of your new skin care regime after about 6 weeks. If you have very sensitive skin and are concerned that this could be a reaction do a patch test on your neck or wrist.   Why are there synthetic ingredients in some of the products you stock?   Some of the products we stock contain a small proportion of chemical or synthetic ingredients. For example, phenoxyethanol is an artificial preservative that is often used as a substitute to parabens. It is approved for use in certified organic beauty products by the UK's Soil Association in recognition that it can be very hard to produce certain beauty products with a shelf life without such ingredients. However if you are looking to avoid chemicals or semi-synthetic ingredients completely look out for these symbols in the product information page. They show that the product is either 100% natural or 100% organic.     What are parabens / SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate) / phthalates / petrochemicals?   Read our ingredient glossary to find out more about these ingredients.   What's your policy on animal testing?   We only stock brands that have a no animal testing policy, who neither test their products or ingredients on animals nor commission third parties to test them.   Many of our products are certified by bodies such as the BDIH or the Vegan Society who require proof of no animal testing before certification is granted.   Are organic beauty products hypo-allergenic?   Most people with sensitive skin have less reactions from organic products because they do not contain common sensitisers such as articifial fragrance or colour.   However natural ingredients, particularly essential oils, can trigger a reaction in some people. Look for products recommended for sensitive skins and/or are fragrance free. How do I apply mineral makeup?   Natural mineral makeup leaves a smooth, flawless, mattified finish to skin and also provides natural UV protection. Shake a little of the powder into the lid, swirl a soft makeup brush in the lid and then shake off any loose powder from the brush. Lightly brush the powder over your face, applying a fine, light layer. Reapply layers of powder until you have the coverage you require.   GENERAL QUESTIONS   Do you sell products wholesale?   We are a retailer and currently sell only the Love Lula Love Candle on a wholesale basis. If you would like more information about stocking the Love Candle please contact us.    Are my credit card and personal details safe?   Your credit card details are processed by either Protx or PayPal, both are specialist card processing companies, regulated by the FSA, using state of the art security systems. We never get to see your credit card details and they are not stored anywhere on our own system so you couldn't be better protected.   Your personal details, eg address, email etc, are kept safely on our system for our own records so we can process your orders and keep you up to date with offers and news. We never ever ever pass your details on to any third parties except when we need to to fulfil your order.
