The Man Behind the Brand
Dr. Saulius Alkaitis is a highly acclaimed research scientist, expert authority on organics, molecular biologist and Ethnopharmacologist (the study of traditional ways of healing mainly with plants) and a pharmacognosist which involves the study of the medicinal properties of plants.
Dr. Saulius Alkaitis was apprenticed under Nobel Laureates for whom his research provided insight on how plants transformed sunlight into chemical energy and encompassed other matters including AIDS, genetic engineering and cancer. He has achieved a level of studies and research in plant life and their healing properties that few people have yet to attain; achievements which qualify him to create the ultimate in true organic skincare.
What Makes the Products Different?
All products are made in-house in the manufacturing laboratory, including the extracts. These are made at room temperature using techniques developed by Dr. Alkaitis, which preserve the individual personalities of each plant. Some of the products take over 6 months to mature in order to maintain the integrity and therapeutic quality of the plant extract. All products are biologically active and edible and free from chemicals and synthetic materials. Neither plant derived ingredients, trans-fats, nor genetically modified organisms are used. 100% certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel is used as the product base as opposed to water. The effect is evident in the texture and consistency of the products. Uniquely, continuing the living and edible theme, only ingestible certified organic alcohol is used.
Dr. Alkaitis works with living ingredients to carry on an age-old and almost-forgotten tradition that dates back as early as the Hellenistic period (600-400 BC). Chemists of this period had already a detailed knowledge of the natural world. This process is continued to avoid using any damaging or dangerous substances.
